EARL JELLICOE IN CANADA
QUEBEC GIVES WARM WELCOME.
SERVICE LEAGUE CONVENTION.

« Rec. 5.5 p.m. Quebec, Aug. 22. Earl Jellicoe arrived here to-day from London en route«to Toronto to preside at the fifth biennial convention of the British Empire Service League. The convention will open on September 5.
A salute of nineteen guns was fired when Earl Jellicoe arrived here and he was given a warm welcome by a distinguished gathering of military and veteran officials.
