The deadlock between the Government and Congress is now- regarded as complete, following the publication by Gandhi of a lengthy statement containing grave charges against the Government of a breach of the Delhi agreement, including the maltreatment of villagers by landlords‘’during rent collection and the alleged guilty connivance of Government officials.
