METEOROLOGICAL METHODS
DR. KIDSON GOES TO ENGLAND. BRITISH ASSOCIATION MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Aug. 14. Dr. E. Kidson, Director of Meteorological Services, leaves by the Rangitane for London to-morrow to attend the centenary meeting of the British Association which commences on September 30. He is the delegate from Australia and New Zealand selected by the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Kidson will keep in touch with recent developments in meteorology, especially late methods of forecasting by the Norwegian school.
