BONUS FOR BUTTER
DISTRIBUTION OF £428,255. 'TOTAL PAYMENT OVER 121 d. Hamilton, .July 30. Payments aggregating £428,255, being a. 'bonus of 1.7G2d per lb butter-fat, will be paid to the butter suppliers of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, on August 31. Mr. C. J. Parlane, general manager of the company, stated to-day that the audit of tlie company’s books for the past season was now practically completed. He was very pleased to say that the total payments for finest quality butter-fat would be 12.6591 per lb. In view of the very low prices ruling for butter on the world’s markets during the past season Mr. Parlane said that the suppliers to his company must regard the payments as very satisfactory indeed. The payments at the various cheese groups were not yet available.
