DOMINION’S FRUIT EXPORTS
SEASON’S FIGURES ANALYSED. By Telegraph—Prcaa Assn.—Copyright. London, July 31. Final figures of the Australian and New Zealand fruit season published by the Empire Marketing Board show that Australia sent to Britain 2,427,000 cases of apples, compared with 3,195,000 last year, and to the Continent 718,000 cases, compared with 1,123,000. New Zealand sent 755,000 cases of apples, compared with 938,000, to Britain, and 380,000 cases to the Continent, compared with 167,000. Australia sent 3210,000 cases of pears, compared with 254,000 last year, and 24,000 cases tG the Continent, compared with 21,000. New Zealand sent 45,000 cases of pears to Britain, compared with 43.000 last year, and 10,000 to tho Continent, compared with 13,000 last year.
