RECESS TILL OCTOBER 20. British Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Aug. 1. Parliament rises to-day for the summer recess. Mr. MacDonald’s motion for the adjournment till October 20 provides that if it appears to the satisfaction of the Speaker after consultation with the Government that the public interest requires an earlier reassembly the House of Commons shall meet on a date to be fixed by the Speaker. The House adjourned till October 20.
