PRINCE’S CAR IN COLLISION
TWO WOMEN SLIGHTLY INJURED. ' MISHAP AT GOLF CLUB’S GATES < (British Wireless.) Roe. 5.5 p.m, Rugby, Aug. I. While the Prince of Wales was returning from golf ,at Sunningdale last evening, accompanied by Lord Westmoreland and his own chauffeur, his motor-car came into collision with another car at the entrance to the Sunningdale Golf Club. All the occupants were somewhat shaken by the collision, but suffered no more serious effects. In trying to avoid, the accident the Prince’s car was driven over the footpath and ran through a fence.. Both cars were damaged. In the other car were two women, one of whom was also shaken and bruised. The Prince gave immediate assistance to the injured ladies, who after receiving attention from two doctors in the club house, were removed to hospital. It is expected they will leave to-day.
