Bylaw No. 21—Relates to Public Billiard Rooms, provides for Licenses and fees therefor, the death or other disability of keeper thereof, the sanitation and hours thereof, the powers of entry thereto, drunkenness, gambling therein, age of persons admitted thereto, exhibiting copy of By-law therein and penalty. Bylaw No. 22—Relates to dangerous goods, licenses required therefor in certain cases, fees for same, inspection of premises, cancellation and transfer of Licenses and penalty. Bylaw No. 23—Relates to Public Parks aud Reserves and provides for rules, regulations and conditions to be observed therein and penalty. Bylaw No. 24—Relates to Roads, Public places and nuisances thereon and provides for regulations and conditions to be observed on roads and public places, regulations respecting noxious weeds, vehicles, refuse, fires, drains, fences, disturbing the peace, placards, sign-posts, bicycles, speed on bridges, hoardings, excavations and removal of soil, driving stock, rules of the road and notices and penalty. Bylaw No. 25—Relates to buildings and provides for applications for building permits, particulars to accompany applications, regulations and conditions to be observed in building and penalty. Bylaw No. 26—Relates to the structure and cleansing of privies and provides regulations and conditions unoer which privies are to be constructed, used and cleansed and penalty. Bylaw No. 27—Relates: to drainage and pi ‘des for drainage permits, particulars to accompany application for permits and regulations and conditions to be observed in making and using drains and penalty. By-law No. 28—Relates to the keeping of animals and provides conditions for housing, keeping and burial of animals and penalty. Bylaw No. 29 —Relates to lodging houses and provides for permits to erect same, particulars to accompany application for permit, registration of lodging houses and conditions under which same are to be carried on and penally. Bylaw No. 30—Relates to Eating-houses and provide for registration thereof and fees payable and penalty. Bylaw No. 31—Relates to the prevention of contamination of food during manufacture and sale and provides for Licenses being required for premises used therefor and the conditions under which same will be granted, schedule of fees and penalty. Bylaw No. 32—Relates to offensive trades and provides for registration of premises used for carrying on same, how application to be made, restriction on establishment of offensive trades, conditions as to erection, use and cleans- ; ing of buildings and machinery used therefor, the storage and carrying of materials and matter, the construction, use and sanitation of slaughtering places, nuisances connected therewith and schedules of offensive trades and penalty. ' % Bylaw No. 33—Relates to cattle Saleyards and provides for Licenses to be obtained for same, conditions imposed before License granted and conditions as to construction, use and cleansing, of the yards and penalty. Bylaw No. 34—Relates to the treatment and sale of second-hand clothing and bedding and provides conditions for the sale, storing and use of same and penalty. By-law No. 35—Relates to nuisances on premises and provides provisions for repair of premises,, cleansing of buildings and yards, offensive matter, domestic water supply, oyer-cr?»wding of sleeping rooms, rubbish receptacles, removal of rubbish, deposit of rubbish and manure, agricultural manuring, prohibiting drainage on to roads and keeping premises free of rats and vermin and penalty.

A full copy of the said Joint By-laws is deposited at the Office of each of the County Councils of Taranaki, Clifton, Egmont, Inglewood, Stratford, Whanganiomona, Eltham, Waimate West and Hawera, and is open to inspection of the public during Office hours of each* said respective Council from the date hereof until the date of each such respective Councils confirming Meeting as hereinafter notified. AND NOTICE is hereby also given that the said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order to respective Meetings of the respective Councils of Taranaki, Clifton, Egmont, Inglewood, Stratford, Whangamomona, Eltham, Waimate West and Hawera as follows: — A Special Meeting, of the Taranaki County Council to be held at the County Office, New Plymouth, on Friday, the 14th day of August, 1931, at 2 o’clock p.m. A Special Meeting of the Clifton County Council to be held at the County Office, Waitara, on Monday, the, 10th day of August, 1931, at 7.30 o'clock p.m. An Ordinary Meeting of the Egmont County Council to be held at the County Office, Opunake, on Tuesday, the 11th day of August, 1931, at 11 o’clock a.m. An Ordinary Meeting of the Inglewood County Council, to be held at the County Office, Inglewood, on Tuesday, the 11th day of August, 1931, at 10.30 o’clock a.m. An Ordinary Meeting of the Stratford County Council to be held at the County Office, Strafford, on Saturday, the 15th day of August, 1931, at 10.30 o’clock a.m. A Special Meeting of the Whangamomona County Council, to be held at the County Office, Whangamomona, on Monday, the 10th day, of August, 1931, at 5 o’clock p.m. A Special Meeting of the Eltham County Council to be held at the County Office, Eltham, on Wednesday, the 12th day of August, 1931, at 11 o’clock a.m. A Special Meeting of the Waimate West County Council, to be held at the County Office, Manaia, on Thursday, the 13th day of August, 1931, at 10 o’clock a.m. An Ordinary Meeting of the Hawera County Council, to be held at the County Office, Hawera, on Saturday, the 15th day of August, 1931, at 10.30 a.m, DATED THIS 13th day of July, 1931.
