CONCERT PROGRAMMES.

On Wednesday evening in the Inglewood Methodist Hall a concert, organised by Mr. W. J. Smith, was given in aid of the circuit funds. The Rev. J. Utting presided, and the following contributed to the programme: Mrs. Jemison, Mrs. McKeen, Mrs. Braybrooke, Mrs. Harrington, Miss G. Beadle, Miss Laririer, Mr. D. McAllister and Mr. W. J. Smith. At the conclusion of the concert supper was served by members of the Ladies’ Guild.

A very enjoyable concert was presented in the Presbyterian Hall on Tuesday evening by a New Plymouth party, organised by Mr. W. Hay. The Rev. R. S. Keenan presided over a very good attendance.

Owing to the rain yesterday the Canadian mixed foursome to have been played on the Inglewood golf links last Thursday, but postponed till yesterday owing to the bad weather, had to be again postponed. On the first Thursday in August a medal round will be played, and in conjunction with this will be played a qualifying round for the men’s championship.
