DANGEROUS ANARCHIST
ALL POLICE SEEKING HIM.
MAY GO TO NEW ZEALAND.
Sydney, July 18. Police in all States of the'Connnonwealth of Australia are on the alert, in the search for a dangerous Bulgarian Communist agitator and anarchist, believed to be now making a tour of Australia, and to have under contemplation a later trip through New Zealand. The man, regarded as one of the most dangerous characters ever to visit the Commonwealth, was in Perth within the past month; but since that time has disappeared mysteriously, and it is supposed that he has gone to Sydney, which is at present a hotbed of Communism. The Commissioner of Police in West Australia has communicated certain information to the New South Wales Commissioner, at the same time warning police in other States. The Commonwealth authorities, in particular, wish to find the man. 1 It is understood that the man is well supplied with funds, -can apeak several languages, including English, very fluently, and is a master of disguise. He was a member of a notorious group of Bulgarian anarchists who had planned to bomb the Hungarian Royal Family. Information sent from West Australia is to the effect that the Bulgarian is. in company of a well-known Communist, who disappeared from Perth at the same time. So far there is no sign of either. The New South Wales polipe have been supplied with his photograph, but consider that it would be of little use, since the dossier cent from Bulgaria indicates that he may adopt any disguise. It is believed that he would, more than likely, pose as a wealthy traveller, moving in high circles unsuspected, and at the same time carrying on secret conversations with the foremost revolutionaries. A disturbing feature of the man’s presence in Australia, at a time when Communistic doctrines are meeting with the approval of the more unbalanced among the unemployed, is that the Bulgarian is known to carry with him secret formulas for the manufacture of bombs and infernal machines.
