COVENT GARDEN AGREEMENT.

Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, June 8. Provisions for subsidising opera are contained in an agreement between the British Broadcasting Corporation and the Covent Garden syndicate, the terms of which have now been completed. The Postmaster-General stated in the House of Commons that the terms of the agreement would be laid before Parliament as soon as the agreement was executed.
