LABOUR PARTY AFFILIATION. i By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Waterside Workers’ Federation of New Zealand recently took a ballot in all the ports of New Zealand to decide whether the federation should remain affiliated to the New Zealand Labour Party and pay the fee of 9d. per member per annum, or whether it should secede. By a majority of 1577 votes the waterside workers have decided to remain affiliated. The voting was: To remain affiliated, 2387; against affiliation, 1010.
