Formation work on the Plymouth Road has been in the hands of the contractors for some days, and the roar of the tractor engaged upon the work has become a familiar sound. Minor outbreaks of chicken-pox have occurred in the district, and although not severe they have adversely affected the attendance at the Koru school. . Mr. G. Meredith, accompani?. by his son, Mr. T.
