LOSS OF SOUTHERN CLOUD
INQUIRY FINDS NO BLAME.
USE OF WIRELESS RECOMMENDED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rec. 10.39 p.m. Canberra, April 29. The report of the commit-tee which inquired into the of the aeroplane Southern Cloud with six passengers and two pilots finds that no blame was attachable to any person connected with Australian National Airways. Hie Southern Cloud was airworthy and properly cared for and all reasonable precautions were taken to ensure the safety of the passenger?. The committee, however, recommends that wireless facilities be provided along the route traversed by air liners engaged in regular commercial services.
