INCREASE in air mails
INDIA TAKES GREATER PART. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Recd. 5.5 p.m. London, April 23. During the first quarter of the picsent year a 26 per cent, increase on the corresponding period of -last year was shown in air mail from Great over 22,000 pounds weight of letteis being carried in the period. The carryings to India were again larger than to any other country, while the traffic to European countries showed a proportionate increase.
