EXPORT OF NELSON APPLES
SEASON IN FULL SWING. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Nelson, Last Night. The Port Hobart is here at present loadin'* 48,000 cases of apples. At the same time 7000 cases daily are being forwarded to Wellington for shipment to the Continent. . Of the quantities already shipped 169,000 cases are Jonathans and 137,000 Delicious. Stunners are expected to produce 280.000 cases. It is anticipated that Nelson's total export this season i till reach 820,000 cases.
