BANKRUPT BEFORE COURT
EIGHT CHARGES AGAINST HIM. CONTRACTION OF DEBTS ALLEGED, An indictable charge against a bank* •rupt was mentioned in the Police Court! at New Plymouth yesterday. It was alleged that James William Moore, dry-, cleaner, had on or about May 23, 1930, contracted a debt of £ll 19s. with P. F. Burrows, Ltd., printers, New Ply* mouth, without having a reasonable or probable expectation of being able to pay it and other debts. The information was laid by Mr. J. S. S.. Medley, deputy official assignee. There were eight charges, and. the hearing would probably take a day. There were witnesses from Wellington. The case was set down for hearing on May 13. Mr. J. H. Sheat appeared for Moore.
