SENTENCE OF IMPRISONMENT, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, April 23. In the Police Court Edward Ward, a youAg man, charged with carrying a revolver without lawful purpoee, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. The police stated that accused and two others were seen 'near premises under suspicious circumstances and kept under observation. A conetable found an unloaded revolver on the window-sill. Accused admitted that he carried keys which he attempted to fit into the door of the premises. This was the-third occasion in the past three months that a person had been found in the city carrying a revolver.
