MOUNT SHANNON WINS THE CUP.

The Woodville Jockey Club’s meeting was opened to-day in fine but. dull weather. The attendance was satisfactory but investments on the totalisator were poor. The total put through the machine was £8432, compared with £17,3’41 on the same day last year. The cp was won .easily by ..the locally-trained Mont Shannon, which paid the biggest dividend of the day. Results are:— MAIDEN STAKES. Of 100 sovs. All 8.11. Six furlongs. 3— GASWYN (R.
