Washington, Feb. 23.
All the embargo and tariff Bills, including the proposed limitation of oil imports to 16,000.009 barrels annually, were rejected to-day by the l-louss «f Representatives’ Wavs and Means Committee.
The action is taken as definitely preventing the introduction during the present session of Congress of a Bill designed to place an embargo on Camdian wheat imports, as advocated by ' la Farm Board officials recently.
Mr. Williamson’s Bill to ban all Russian products was also rejected. The committees does not expect to meet again during the present session.
