MEETING OF DOMAIN BOARD. The Stratford Domain Board decided last night to accept the offer of Mr. J. H. Robson for the wood obtained, by felling the nine trees in King Edward Park along "Page Street up to the camp site entrance, the remaining trees to be left to. provide shelter for the camp. The board will cut and trim the trees and men on relief works who have had tree-felling experience will do the work. The Waitara freezing works employees were given permission to hold the annual picnic in King Edward Park on March 14.
Feeling that for the present the expense of building a glass house cannot be justified, the board will procure the plants it requires by contract with nurserymen in the district, m ’
