By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.
London, February 12.
Daniel o‘Kellher and his son Dennis, insurance agents in Sheffield, were fined £25 each for selling Irish Grand National sweep tickets. The defence contended that the Act constituting the Free State a Dominion rendered the lottery ipso facto legal in Britain, The magistrates expressed the opinion that while'recognising that the Dominions were free, the Government must consider the English law.
