SENSATIONAL STAGING.

“FOLLIES” AT ELTHAM THEATRE.

Sensational in the staging of its musical numbers, entrancing in story and the epitome of vibrant youth at play, “The New Movietone Follies of 1930” will be shown at Eltham to-night. An unusually strong cast of stage and screen favourites, including El Brendel, Marjorie White, Frank Richardson, Noel Francis and Willihm Collier, Jun., is featured. In addition, there are numerous speciality singers / and dancers and a dancing ensemble of 300. The story, which supplies a comedy hackground, concerns the romance between young Collier, a wealthy New York playboy, and Miss Seegar, who is the star of a Broadway musical production. The new theme songs are attractive and the comedy of El Brendel and Marjorie White makes the picture something to be remembered.
