i HOME - MISSIONER WELCOMED.
An enjoyable and well-attended social was held in the Knox Presbyterian Hall at Fitzroy on Thursday in welcome to Mr. O. G. Sedgwick, the newly appointed Home Missioner, and his, wife and daughter. The Rev. J. McGregor, Stratford, presided and. a welcome was extended by the Rev. J. D. McL. Wilson, the Rev. J. Nixon,, Dr., P. C. Davie, Messrs. N. K. McDiapmid, Cocker, Taunt, McLeod and Pettigrew. Interspersed with, the speeches of welcome were iteins as follows: Pianoforte solo, Mr. Jordan Rogers; recitations, Miss Greta Jemison and Mrs. Pettigrew; saxophone solos, Mr. Des George; songs, Miss B. Coleman;, xylophone solos, Mr. Jack Renton; violin solos, Mr. David Stafford; pianoforte duets, Misses Johnston,
