SPANISH ELECTION BOYCOTT
GOVERNMENT MAY RESIGN POWER CRISIS WHEN KING RETURNS. By Telegraph—Press Aspn.—Copyright Rec. 8.30 p.m. Madrid, Jan. 29. The decision of several important parties to boycott the elections on March 1 has shattered the hopes of the Government for a representative poll and may lead to the abandonment of the election? or resignation of the Prime Minister, General Berengeur. The political crisis is expected to become acute on February 8 when, King Alfonso is due to return to the capital.
