CRICKETERS’ DISPUTE
NEGOTIATIONS FOR SETTLEMENT.

The executive of the Queensland Cricket Association met to discuss the Case of Thompson and Biggs, who were called on to show cause why they should not.be suspended for having disobeyed orders of the executive during the southern., tour.
Subsequently the chairman and Thompson agreed upon a basis of settlement, which provided that the suspensions imposed on Gough, Bcnsted, Thurlow, Goodwin and Amos be removed and s. rotfnd table conference between the players and executive shall be held.
