FARMERS’ SUGGESTIONS
MR. FORBES THANKS DEPUTATION

Wellington, Last Night. Claiming to represent 90 per cent, of the primary producers of the Dominion, Mr. David Jones, M.P., chairman of the Meat Board, Mr. W. A. lorns, chairman of the Dairy Produce Board, and other representatives from both bodies to-day waited on the Prime Minister, Mr. G. W. Forbes, requesting the Government to take immediate action to relieve the plight of the primary producers. The proceedings were not open to the Press. Mr. Forbes thanked the deputation for its suggestions and eaid they would be helpful to the Government, which was at present considering the economic position of the Dominion.
