As the outcome of their policy of always placing the interests of the travelling public and the residents of the districts served first, Gibson’s Motors, Ltd., have built up a well-de-served reputation for transport second to none in tho Dominion. On the New Plymouth-Opunake road they have for years carried out a splendid service with their fleet of commodious buses and ears. Monday next will see further improvements made in the timetable, particularly in the morning buses, which should tend to make the service even more suited to tfie requirements of the residents of the coast and travellers generally. The bus which leaves New Plymouth at 7.30 a.m. has been replaced by an up-to-date eightseater car, and by eliminating some, of the stoppages on the route it will arrive 'at Opunake at 9.10 instead of at 9.30 as formerly. The departure of the morning buses from Opunake has been delayed and they will now leave r.t 7.45 a.m. instead of 7.30 a.m., and 8.45 a.m. instead of' 8.1'5 a.m., arriving at New Plymouth at 9.45 and 10.45 am. respectively The late bus should prove very convenient to those who have certain farm duties to attend to before leaving for the town. The afternoon buses will leave as heretofore and the late Friday service will also continue.
