Despite every attempt by. interested aviation circles, the Air Ministry has announced that it is adhering to its decision not to participate in the 1031 Schneider Clip contest in view of the heavy expense involved. It appears most unlikely that, private enterprise will be able to meet? the challenge of France and Italy.
