ALLOWANCES TO STUDENTS
REDUCTION OF £5 ANNOUNCED.

Wellington, Jan. 15.
A circular has been issued by the Wellington Education Board advising probationers and Training College students that their allowance is being reduced by £5. It/is explained that the Government has found -it necessary owing to the financial depression to exercise the most rigid economy in connection with public expenditure, and because of that the, decision has been made.
