Sydney, Jan. 15The mystery regarding the Chinese coffins found floating in the vicinity of Sydney Heads has been solved ’ y a radio message from the steamer ritu saying that the coffins were dumped overboard by the crew, who regarded them as in the nature of a “hoodoo.” The Caharita is the vessel which was nearly lost in Bass Strait before Christ - nias and upon which an engineer - was scalded to death. She was previously in the run to the East.
