EAST END CLUB SURFERS
ATTENDANCE GOOD—WATER COLD. The East End Surf Club held a club night at the. New Plymouth baths last night. There was a good attendance but a recently, comparatively cold snap had had an effect upon the water. Results of races were:— •; ' ? 33 1-3 yards, boys.—N. Taylor 1, D. Simpson 2, E. Coleman 3., Twelve started. 50 yards, boys.—Coleman 1, Simpson 2, Ainsworth 3. Ten started. Boys’ diving.—Henderson 1, J. McLean 2. Five entered. Men’s 220 yards.—R. Gardiner 1, N. Gardiner 2, R. Williams 3. Six started. Men’« diving.—L. Kerr 1, M. Kerr 2, I# ,; N. Gardiner 3. Thirteen entered.
