Mr. A. Hendereon, Foreign Secretary, broadcasting a long Christmas message to. the United States, pointed out that the world’s choice lay between peace and war, between co-operafion and conflict. They must choose now to avoid a universal catelysm. Civilised Governments had done much to promote peace, and if they were faithful to its cause they would prevail.
