N.P. RIFLE CLUB
CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITION. ‘ The first competition for - the club championship was held by the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club at the Rewa Rewa range on Saturday. The match consisted of seven shots at each of the ranges, 300, 500 and 600 yards. Rifleman F .C. Hogg topped the score with a steady 95 of a possible, 105, while a young tyro ncn-meniber of the club, Lichfield, though untised to the aperture sights used by the club rjflemeu, notched a good 87. Lichfield had .previously shot at Bisley as a representative of Marlborough College. The scores are:—
