. CONCERT. AND DANCE HELD. ' _____ 1 The Kifihau children’s prize-giving ceremony was held in the Mill Hd.ll on Saturday. The function took the form of a concert, although itepis by the children were rather * scarce owing to the short tii’ne slice arrival of the new teacher. With the aid of Mr. Higginson and party, however, an enjoyable evening was spent. After the concert the prizes were presented. Dancing was continued till hidnight, iniisic being supplied by Mr. F. Cribb, chairman of the school committee. It was pleasing to see visitors from Cdfrington mill, six miles away. Mr. Ken Perry was master of ceremonies for the dance and auctioneer for the surplus supper. Mr. F. Payne officiated. tit the concert add greatly, amused the audience with Scotch ditties.
