With a majority of wins in every division except the ladies, singles the New Plymouth Tennis Club team wrested the Soffe Cup from Waiters in a match at the Waitara courts’? on Saturday. New Plymouth won every set in ; the men’s singles, ladies’ doubles .and'mixed doubles. In the ladies’ singles, however, Waitara’s top three won and . saved the team from complete rout, being helped by McDavitt and Browning’s win; over Thompson and Ballantyne.
