-special medal donated by Mr. F. W. Weston for the champion calf judged on dairy type was competed for. : Mr. F. W. Sutton, of the Stock. Division of the Department of Agrictilt'ure, was judge. Mr. A. R-aAlpe . (chairman of the Farmers’.Union) presented the cup to Miss {Cannell, teacher, of the Mount Messenger school,. a,nd congratulated the pupils on their success. Each of the three schools had now won the cup, he said. He.. expressed the hope that the' children-.would . maintain their interest in the competitions. • ■ Mrs. S.
