The selector indicated that these alleged ringleaders might be dropped for the remaining matches. ’. • - . ’ .• / A message yesterday said: A meeting of players \of the Queensland Sheffield Shield cricket team decided to defy the Queensland . Association and appointed its own selectors. The trouble dates back to last season, when the Queensland selectors in Brisbane insisted on choosing t'p .team for each game by -telegraph, a complete, departure from the practice of other -State teams. The players are of opinion that it is impossible for the Queensland selectors to keep in touch with players’ doings, and accordingly appointed three members of the team as selectors.
