PRIZE IN COMPETITION. London, Dec. 3. Mrs. Robinson, aged 80, living in Cumberland, won a prize of £lOOO ill a giies ing competition, relating to Australian wool. She had never won a threepenny piece before, and is too excited, to come to London, so she s sending her granddaughter, Vivienne, to collect the money. Wolsey, Limited, offered the prize for the most correct forecast of the number of garments made of Australian wOol by the firm in the year ended November. The actual number was 13,838,737, and Mrs. Robinson’s guess was 13,840,001.
