Ryckman, said he did not believe the report that Australia intended to flood the Canadian market with Butter shipped on consignment to. escape the payment of the dumping duty. “We have an understanding with Australia,” Mr. Ryckman said, “and 1 am' satisfied there will be no unfair dumping on the Canadian market. If butter is sent here on consignment we Cannot collect, but as soon as it is sold the Department of Revenue has a right to. impose its levies.”
