On Monday aftcrnooii Mrs. L. I. Bull was hostess at tea at her home, South Road, when she received her many friends attired in a smart afternoon frock of light navy silk. Vases of Iceland poppies and roses adorned the drawing room, while the dining room was gay with large bowls of pink azaleas and sweet peas. The guests included Mesdames Woodward, F. W. Sutton, W. Williams, Inwood (Christchurch), C. Bayley and H. R. Kemp, Miss Latter (Chjistehurch), Mr. Murray Page, Mrs. J. B. Murdoch and Miss Ethel Murdoch, Miss Leech (Inglewood), Mrs. Evans and Miss Joyce Evans, Mrs. White and Miss Lorna White, Mrs. Arthur Coleman, Miss Hay-Mackenzie, Miss Rawson, Mesdames McWilliam, A.
