SUCCESS OF HAWERA CONCERT.
’ Those who .entered into “The Realm of Make-Believe,” at St. Joseph’s Hall, Hawera, last night had every reason -to be pleased with the fare of elocutionary, musical and . dancing numbers submitted Aor their entertainment. The function was a recital by the pupils of Miss Maisie limtone, aissisted by Mrs, A. R. Graham. Dances were performed by pupils of Miss Mary Thompson and. selections by an orchestra arranged by Mr. H.-C. A. Fox.
Thera was present a large audience, th> members of which applauded to tho fulb the efforts of the children and youmr people v.-ho provided"“tho pro? gramme. Moat of the evening was devoted to three playettes in which those engaged carried through their parts naturally and perfectly, revealing the results of careful preparation. z
