Last night saw the Hawera railway station crowded with Guides and Guiders, who gave a rousing welcome to Mi«s Ada Ballantyne, one of their eister Guiders, on her return from an extended tour of the United States, England and the Continent.

The large room which was set aside for dancing was tastefully decorated with spring flowers and bowls of palms. Among the guests were Matron Smith, Sister Syme and Nurse Moody.
