WOMEN’S CONFERENCE WORK
MISS E. ANDREWS’ ADDRESS. INTEREST SHOWN AT STRATFORD Miss E. Andrews, New Plymouth, gave an address in Stratford last night on the pan-Pacific women’s conference. An audience numbering a hundred showed the greatest interest and on the motion of Mr. P. Thomson, Mayor, expressed thanks enthusiastically.
The address was arranged by the Presbyterian Ladies’ Social Union, of which” Mrs. W. J. Polson is president... Dr. William P. Gordon presided. -Miss Andrews reviewed subjects as already reported by the News.
