VISIT OF BRITISH EXPERT; British Wireless. Rugby, Dec. 2. ’ A League of Nations communique .announces that .the. Government of India has invited Sir. Arthur Salter, director of the economic and financial section of the .League of Nations, to visit India in order that they may consult him. . The Goverjinierit’s .letter to the Secre-tary-General states that the Government has been studying plans for-the creation of some organisation for the -study of the economic question. In this connection it has given attention to.the organisations which has recently been established in other countries and particularly t, the work done by. the League. ; The Secretary-General arranged for Sir Arthur to pay ,a visit, and he will leave for India towards the end iof Decern 1 -r. While-in India Sir Arthur , will discuss the development of India’s collaboration in the work of the technical Organisations of the League. <
