ACTING PRIME MINISTER ILL
FORTNIGHT’S REST PROBABLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Acting-Prime Minister, the Hon. E, A. Ransom, is indisposed and it is possible he wPI take a fortnight’s respite from official duties in order to recuperate. Although he has been at his office at Parliament House recently he was confined to his residence to-day. Mr. Ransom became ill at Dannevirke on Monday before he left for Wellington and he later had to go home.from a Cabinet ineeting. H© has attended to his duties at intervals since, and although it is understood his indisposition is not serious, he will probably have a short rest from work.
