AUSTRALIAN WHEAT CRISIS
MINISTER MAY VISIT AMERICA. FINANCE OF COMING HARVEST. By Telegraph—Press Assn, —Copyright. Rec. 8.30 p.m. Canberra, Nov. 20. The Acting-Prime Minister, Mr. J. E. Fenton, referring to the serious plight of the wheat growers, said he had cabled to London suggesting that Mr. Moloney, Minister of Markets, should visit Canada and the United States to ascertain whether united action could be taken in regard to marketing this year’s wheat crop. The Government would also confer with the Corpmonwealth Bank and the State Governments and try to evolve a method ‘of financing the coming harvest, which was likely to be a “bumper” one.
