HAWERA BEATS OLD BOYS. WIN ON FIRST INNINGS. Rain interrupted play between the Hawera and Old Boys’ Wednesday cricket teams at Hawera yesterday, when the former team was leading by 35 runs on the first innings with nine wickets down. Old Boys, batting first, were dismissed for 55, Moloney (112) being the only batsman to reach double figures. Wofrall was the principal bowler, and he bowled unchanged throughout.
