Rec. 9.55 p.m- London, Nov. 18. “There is no Government in Europe not cognisant with the warlike efforts of their neighbours; yet they talk of peace,” writes Signor Mussolini in the Daily Express. “We are ready to call a halt the moment the others do the same. “We regard a general reduction of armaments as essential to fair play, but when the whole of Europe is arming each nation must look to its own defence. Woe to the country which would violate our national honour and embroil us in conflict for the preservation of our national unity. If conflict it must be then we are determined not to emerge defeated.
