RAPID TUITION IN SPANISH
PRINCE OF WALES APT PUPIL. SOUTH AMERICAN TRIP IN VIEW. British Wireless. Rec' 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 16. In preparation for his visit to South America nekt year the Prince of Wales is practising his Spanish with the advice and assistance of Dr. Pastor, Cervantes Professor of Spanish at London University. Dr. Pastor says the Prince’s progress during the past three weeks has° been equal to that of the average university student in two years and is attributable to his extraordinary aptitude for concentration and his interest in the language. The Prince is talking Spanish whenever possible, even with Dr. Pastor on aeroplane flights, and the latter is spending the present week-end in the country with him for the purpose.
